This handwoven tapestry, titled "Crosses" , was woven during the end of the summer of 2024 at the beach using yarn that Max had acquired at an artisan shop in Greenville, Maine. This beautiful tapestry uses a cross motif throughout the piece, and through this immense detail an illusion of depth can be experienced. This piece is more stunning in person than it is digitally and is a truly thought provoking piece of art.
Handwoven Tapestry 3, "Crosses"
This handwoven tapestry is constructed of four colors of yarn, two being used for the borders of the tapestry and two being used to construct the body of the tapestry. The yarn composing the body was purchased from a local artisan in Greenville, Maine. This tapestry was woven using said yarn woven through natural twine on a handmade loom made by Max from M.W.
